Ronetta Smith

Ronetta Smith is a retired Jamaican sprinter and 4x400m Olympic bronze medalist, winning her medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics. She also earned two 4x400m medals at the World Championships, securing silver in 2005 and bronze in 2003. Smith was a standout junior athlete, with two medals from the 1996 CAC Junior Championships (U17) and a bronze medal in the 400m at the 1997 CARIFTA Games Junior (U20). Throughout her career, Smith was known for her speed and resilience, contributing to Jamaica’s success in the 4x400m relay on the international stage. Her achievements as both a junior and senior athlete helped cement her place as one of Jamaica’s top 400m runners.
